Development of Potential RNA based Therapeutic Agents

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) targeting pathways of human disease provide a new and potential powerful candidate for therapeutic intervention against various diseases. Our group is trying to decipher the mechanism of action, the ability to function as master regulators of the genome and an apparent lack of adverse events in normal tissue,which make microRNA a promising technology for current and future therapeutic development.interestingly, We are involved in understanding the crosskingdom regulation of miRNAs and molecular insights of the target disease pathways which is still an infancy.

Development of Diagnostics and vaccine candidates for important disease

Understanding the disease architecture and possible multiomics and systems biology interventions towards the discovery of new molecular targets for effective vaccine candidates. Our group is trying to develop a complete cascade of information on diseases like leptospirosis, cancer and make an attempt to understand the metadata of genome and proteome towards host-pathogen relationship & molecular pathways involved.

Translational Bioinformatics & Systems Biology for environment and health solutions

Biotechnology and Life sciences sector is completely dependent on the Bioinformatics as a major driver. There is a huge demand of need-based tool/software/pipeline/database for each type of biological data analysis and contributes major market as well. It will help to develop state repository of biological data and to facilitate processing, analysis, and management of large data sets. Big data analytics and Bioremediation technologies are very useful for environment biotechnology applications.
